Andy Warhol, Campbell's Soup Cans II
This iconic U.S. Pop Art piece was made in 1969, right in the middle of the most prominent decade of Pop Art in Latin America. While critical in its own regard, compared to the stringency of Latin American Pop, it appears relatively neutral and positive. As seen in the remaining works of this exhibit, Latin American Pop generated a non-neutral, negative, and controversial questioning of consumerism.
