A curatorial seminar

This web exhibition was created by the ten students enrolled in "Pop Art in the Americas" in Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University in Spring 2015. The seminar was taught by Esther Gabara, with Camila Maroja as the Bass teaching fellow, and formed part of the Franklin Humanities Institute's Global Brazil Lab.

The students who wrote the essays, selected the images, created the timeline, and designed the activities were:

John Victor Alencar

Laura Arteaga-López

Adrienne Castro

Sophie Cummins

Schuyler DeBree

Chris Hurtado

Addie Malone

Charlotte McKay

Daniel Moore

Zarah Udwadia

Our thanks to Paul Corbett and Hannah Jacobs for their expertise and assistance.
